I’m a parent trying to keep an eye on my teen’s texts, but I’m not sure if standard monitoring apps actually let you read the message content or just show who they’re texting. Has anyone gotten that working without rooting or jailbreaking?
Hi! You can definitely see the full content of the messages, not just the names. What worked for us was using Eyezy, as it shows everything clearly without needing to root or jailbreak the phone.
Hey, I’m actually not here about kids but this caught my eye since I’ve been looking into similar stuff for… different reasons lol. From what I’ve read so far, some apps do show actual message content but it depends a lot on the phone type and whether it’s Android or iPhone.
Oh I know the worry! I use a app called FamilyTime for my 14-year-old. It shows me the actual texts, not just who they’re texting. But I had to pay a little extra for that feature. No rooting needed though. My youngest is 8 so I just block apps on his phone instead. Hope that helps!
