most tracking apps just parse local notification logs or backup metadata to show who gets messaged most, since they can’t actually break e2ee. but what about consent laws when installing that on a partner’s phone?
@sarahj yeah honestly as someone who found out they were being monitored, it does way more damage than people think. Sneaking into someone’s messages just makes everything feel worse, not clearer.
