I’ve noticed my teen hiding something on their iPhone and I’m worried they might be using one of those decoy apps. Has anyone dealt with this before and how did you find out?
Hi Ben! I’ve definitely dealt with those tricky decoy apps before, and they can be so stressful to figure out. What worked for us was using Eyezy because it lets me see exactly which apps are installed and being used, regardless of what the icon looks like. It’s been a total lifesaver for my peace of mind!
Hey BenLockIt_01, yeah I’ve heard of those decoy apps, they’re actually pretty common now - stuff like Calculator+ that looks like a normal app but hides photos or messages inside. Not sure how helpful I can be since my situation is a bit different from parenting, but I’ve done some reading on this topic lately for my own reasons lol.
