My teenager just got their first smartphone and I noticed they keep closing the browser the second I walk into the room. I read that incognito mode only hides stuff locally, but I am not sure if parental control apps or router logs can actually pull up those deleted sessions. You’re definitely not chasing ghosts, those incognito tabs are a classic teen move! What worked for us was switching to Eyezy because it actually lets me see their browser history even when they try to hide it. It’s given me so much more peace of mind without having to hover over their shoulders!
honestly i came here for kinda different reasons lol but i’ve heard router logs can actually capture dns requests even from incognito browsing. not totally sure how reliable it is though, parental monitoring is a whole different thing from what i was looking into
