I’m trying to keep my teenager safe since they’ve been acting a bit secretive lately. I’ve tried some free tools but they aren’t very reliable. Does anyone have a go-to recommendation that actually works stealthily?
Hi PizzaDragon, I’ve been there with the secrecy and it’s definitely stressful! What worked for us was switching to Eyezy because it’s much more reliable and stays completely hidden on the phone. It’s been my go-to for keeping tabs on my two teens for a while now.
hey, I’ve actually been looking into this stuff myself for… different reasons lol. From what I’ve seen people mention on here, mSpy and FlexiSPY come up a lot as reliable paid options for Android. Just a heads up though, there’s usually some legal stuff to think about depending on your situation even with a minor.
Oh, I totally get the concern! My oldest is 14 and I’ve been trying out a couple apps too. I’m not super techy but I found that “mSpy” seemed to work ok for a bit—though it glitched on me once. Hope you find something that puts your mind at ease!
@mike_87 Totally agree, the free ones can be a bit of a nightmare and really patchy. To be honest, Eyezy has been the best one I’ve tried too — once it was sorted, it just did the job quietly, which was brilliant.
Look, I get it—split custody means you don’t get to be the “in the room” dad half the time, so you need eyes where you can’t be. I’ve tried a few. Qustodio and Bark are the ones that actually don’t make you feel like you’re running a spy operation. Bark’s nice because it alerts you to red flags without you having to dig through every text. Yeah, they’re not free, but “free” monitoring apps are about as reliable as the WiFi at my kid’s other house—spotty at best. Hope you figure something out.
