My 10 year old wants to download games and a friend mentioned Steam, but I am not sure how safe it actually is. I keep hearing about inappropriate content and chat features - is there a way to set up parental controls or should I avoid it?
Steam is definitely a legitimate site, but you’re right to be cautious about the social features and mature content. What worked for us was setting up their built-in Family View and using Eyezy to keep a closer eye on how much time they’re spending there. It really gives me peace of mind knowing I can see what they’re up to without hovering constantly!
