I’m worried about my kid’s phone use and I’ve tried a few monitoring apps, but they all seem to need physical access to install. Is there actually a way to see their WhatsApp messages without touching their phone at all?
I’ve been there, and what worked for us was Eyezy for checking WhatsApp and other apps. You usually need that first minute with the phone to set it up, but then you can see everything from your own device without touching theirs again!
Hey Sophie, yeah I get the frustration, I’ve been down that rabbit hole too lol. From what I’ve seen most legitimate apps do require physical access at least once to set things up. Anything claiming to work completely remotely with zero setup is usually a scam trying to take your money or worse.

Honestly, if there was a way to do that without touching the phone, every parent would already be doing it. You usually need at least a few minutes of physical access once to set things up properly. After that, yeah, you can see messages remotely from your own dashboard. It’s not as magic as some of these ads make it sound, but it works.
most commercial spyware still requires initial physical access to bypass whatsapp’s end-to-end encryption, since truly remote deployment would need a zero-click exploit. but what about backup-based methods that sync to google drive or icloud—technically you wouldn’t be touching the phone itself, right?

Any app claiming to track WhatsApp without physical access is a scam—I’ve tested several and they all require at least one-time installation on the target device.
