My 12-year-old has been acting secretive with their iPad lately and I’m worried about their online activity. I’ve read about keyloggers but I’m not sure if they work on iPads or if it’s even legal. Can anyone advise on safe ways to monitor their usage?

ios sandboxing prevents third-party apps from capturing system-wide keystrokes, so a traditional keylogger won’t function without jailbreaking which severely undermines the device’s security architecture. but what about… using apple’s native screen time and content restriction tools instead?
