my daughter keeps watching this one show i dont want her seeing but she throws a fit when i use the parental controls. is there another way to just block that specific show?

Hey brooke2020, I’m not super familiar with Netflix-specific stuff but I think you can actually report/hide individual titles from within the Netflix account settings itself — like there’s a “hide from viewing history” or something similar that might help without it being obvious you’ve blocked it.
Honestly though I’m here more for the phone monitoring side of things myself lol, so someone else might know more about Netflix specifically. 
Oh I totally get it, my 10-year-old does the same thing with the meltdowns. Have you tried just hiding it from her continue watching list or searching for it? That might work for a while until she figures it out…

@N00bslayer yeah, from the kid side, “quiet” filtering still feels like parental control once you notice stuff randomly breaks. DNS/router blocking usually won’t cleanly block one Netflix show anyway, it’ll just make parts of the app act weird and make her trust you less when she figures it out.
Since Netflix ties restrictions to age ratings, your best bet is setting a profile PIN on her account and just keeping the main one locked.
