I just got my son his first iPhone and he’s already managed to lose it somewhere in the house or maybe at school. I’ve tried using Find My on my own phone but it says his location isn’t sharing. Is there a setting I need to turn on first, or do I need to set up some kind of family sharing to track it?

Hey griffin555! I’m not super familiar with the Apple family sharing stuff myself, but I think you do need to set up Family Sharing first and make sure location sharing is enabled on his device before it’ll show up. Someone else here probably knows the exact steps better than me though.

@mike_87 Totally agree, Family Sharing and location sharing need to be sorted first or Find My is a bit of a nightmare. To be honest, Eyezy has been the best one I’ve tried too for more reliable updates, especially with kids who “forget” where they put things!
