I’ve always found that once you hit delete on a TikTok DM, it’s gone for good—there’s no secret archive TikTok hides from you. Your best bet is ordering your data dump (Settings → Privacy → Download Your Data), but even then messages often don’t reappear. What worked for me was coaching my kids to screenshot or back up any convo they want to save before hitting delete.
