I’ve always found that Life360 is a solid choice. It gives you real-time location updates, location history, and lets you set alerts for when your kid arrives or leaves certain places. For monitoring phone usage as well, Qustodio does a great job—it covers location tracking plus app and screen time monitoring, all from a parent-friendly dashboard. Both are easy to set up and use. What worked for me was starting with the free version before deciding if you need the extra features.
